A desk buddy or absolute chaos? Help me decide 🐾

Dear Reader,

I need your advice on a big decision I've been weighing behind the scenes.

Lately, my writing cave has felt a little too quiet while outlining my next book. I’ve been seriously thinking about adopting a rescue puppy to keep me company during long drafting sessions.

On one hand: endless morning walk breaks, cute desk companion, and a built-in writing supervisor. On the other hand: chewed manuscript outlines, puppy training during intense writing sprints, and zero personal space.

If you have dogs (especially while working from home), how do you manage the balance? Should I take the plunge? Hit reply and share your wisdom (or send pictures of your furry writing buddies to convince me)!
